
Bayview Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our patient care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, supporting patient recovery, and coordinating with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure excellent outcomes.
Patient Care Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans in coordination with healthcare teams Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records Provide post-treatment and discharge instructions to patients and families Respond quickly to emergency situations and follow clinical protocols Coordination & Communication Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary staff Coordinate patient care across departments, including diagnostics and therapy Participate in care conferences and collaborate on care planning Clinical Procedures Perform wound care, IV therapy, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures Collect samples for lab tests and assist in diagnostic procedures Ensure proper documentation and compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies Patient Advocacy & Education Educate patients about conditions, medications, and health maintenance Advocate for patients’ needs and provide emotional support
Clinical Proficiency: IV insertion, medication administration, patient assessment Technical Knowledge: EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) Critical Thinking: Strong judgment in fast-paced clinical environments Communication: Clear and empathetic communication with patients and staff Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
