Job Description

Silver Valley Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team in Las Vegas. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment, developing lesson plans, and supporting the academic and personal growth of students. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong classroom management, and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and inspiring educational experience.

Job tasks and Responsibilities

Classroom Instruction Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects aligned with the school’s curriculum. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and student needs. Use a variety of instructional techniques and resources to promote critical thinking and creativity. Student Support & Development Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and class participation. Provide constructive feedback and support to students individually and in groups. Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment. Classroom Management Establish and maintain clear rules, routines, and behavioral expectations. Encourage positive student behavior and manage classroom disruptions effectively. Collaboration & Communication Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and behavior. Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to enhance the school’s educational programs. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops. Administrative Duties Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, grades, and progress reports. Prepare and submit lesson plans, reports, and other required documentation. Assist in organizing school events, extracurricular activities, and field trips.
